The book of Carlos Bulosan entitled America Is In The Heart touches millions of people around the world especially in Asia. The book is an autobiography of the native son of Binalonan describing life in the 1900’s in his barrio.

The book also tells his struggle as a meager worker in California and an in Alaska. Bulosan fought for impartiality in his time. His principle made him recognized as one of the great minds that help alleviate the social injustice in the United States.
